About the Journal

Aims & Scope

BHAKTI BHINNEKA: Jurnal Bina Harmoni dan Karya untuk Transformasi is a scholarly community service journal managed by the Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM), Satya Terra Bhinneka University. The journal aims to serve as an academic platform for publishing and disseminating outcomes of community engagement programs that apply science, technology, and social innovation through collaboration with communities, institutions, government, and industry partners.

The journal prioritizes community service articles that demonstrate strong partnerships, systematic implementation methods, tangible outputs, and measurable, sustainable impacts. Submissions are expected to clearly describe the community needs or partner issues addressed, program objectives, implementation methods and stages, produced outputs, as well as evaluation of outcomes and impacts.

The journal’s scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Social and community empowerment
  • Information technology
  • Midwifery and health
  • Business and economics
  • Digital transformation
  • Education for sustainable development
  • Environment
  • Sustainable agriculture

Types of articles accepted include community service program reports, implementation and appropriate technology application reports, empowerment best practices, development of mentoring/training models, and studies evaluating outputs and impacts of community engagement activities.

Language

The primary language of publication is Indonesian and English Language

Publication Frequency

BHAKTI Bhinneka is published semi-annually (twice a year / every six months) namely February and June

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo the following process:

  1. Editorial screening to ensure alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, compliance with author guidelines, and completeness of the manuscript.
  2. Peer review, where manuscripts are evaluated by reviewers with relevant expertise to assess academic quality, program relevance, methodological rigor, and clarity of outputs and impacts.
  3. Editorial decision is made based on reviewers’ recommendations and the editor’s assessment (accepted, revision required, or rejected).

Open Access Statement

BHAKTI Bhinneka applies an open access policy, providing immediate and free access to its published content. This policy is intended to broaden the dissemination of knowledge, enhance the utilization of community service outcomes, and support wider global knowledge exchange.
